01 · About me
I discovered EMDR as a client
I remember how much it mattered to have someone I trusted beside me, who listened gently and stayed there, as a witness, while I went back to what was hard. That is how I came to EMDR, and that is how I came to want to learn to do the same for others.
I am fascinated by how our mind seems made to heal, given the right conditions. I believe in the power of a safe therapeutic relationship in which we can look differently at past experiences, and in the importance of methods that help us understand what is happening to us and build concrete change. I believe people have more resources than they suspect, sometimes in unexpected places.
For 12 years I worked as an Ombuds with people caught in conflict and deadlock, through mediation, coaching and counselling. Today I am a clinical psychologist, trained in EMDR and in training in cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), including third-generation approaches (DBT, ACT, mindfulness). In my practice I aim to combine the therapeutic relationship, an individual understanding of each person and evidence-based techniques.

PTSD package
Feeling safe in your own life again
After an event that threatened your safety, intense reactions are natural, and for most people they fade within a few weeks. If the symptoms persist for more than a month and affect your daily life, it may be PTSD — intrusive memories or nightmares, avoiding places or conversations that remind you of the event, guilt, emotional numbness or constant alertness. PTSD is diagnosed only by a mental health specialist.
Why EMDR: it is included as a recommended intervention for PTSD in the guidelines of international bodies, including the World Health Organization and the American Psychological Association. In it, you process the traumatic memory while bilateral stimulation is applied (eye movements, tapping or alternating sounds).

10 sessions of 60 minutes each, online or face to face. For adults with a PTSD diagnosis after a single traumatic event — without a diagnosis yet, you can talk to our specialists first. For multiple or complex trauma, whose treatment is usually longer, the package can be a starting point.
