Frequently asked questions about online psychotherapy: how fast we call, how to cancel a session, how confidential it is and what happens on the first call.
How do online sessions work?
The same as in the practice, on a secure platform. You need a stable connection and somewhere you will not be interrupted.
How long until someone calls me?
The mental health counsellor (CSM) calls within one working day of your form, in one of the time windows you tick.
What happens if I cancel?
You may cancel at least 24 hours ahead at no cost. Under 24 hours, the session counts as held.
What happens to what I say in session?
It is confidential. The exceptions are those set out in law, and we explain them at the first session.
Is the first call a clinical assessment?
No. It takes twenty minutes and is about what brings you here and who fits you.
